Post-Covid Litigation

The world has seen many major changes since early 2020.  The prevalence of remote work because of the pandemic was very evident in the legal world.  Office meetings, depositions, court appearances, mediations and even some trials and arbitrations took place over Zoom instead of in-person.  The reliance on zoom has led to drastic changes for many in the legal profession.  Some who were reluctant to embrace technology left the practice of litigation.  Some fully embraced remote work fully and vowed to never return to the ways of old.

The attorneys at Adeszko Abate and Green, have been able to adjust to whatever was required to zealously represent their clients.  When a change in the practice of law required remote work, their attorneys were quick to adjust to utilizing Zoom to their advantage, embracing the technology and utilizing it to their advantage.  They also have been able to use it at times to make clients more comfortable by participating in depositions and meditations from the comfort of their homes to help ease anxiety.

Now with many courthouses, including the Cook County Daley Center, moving back towards court fully in person, the attorneys at Adeszko Abate and Green, are once again positioning themselves to pivot and adjust to whatever may be needed to prosecute their client’s claims.  While many firms have gone fully remote or participated in the mass exodus from downtown, Adeszko Abate & Green, maintains its primary office downtown within walking distance of the Daley Center ready to go back to court when needed, while many firms are reluctant to adjust.

The willingness to do what it takes to zealously represent their clients and yet use technology to benefit their clients when appropriate is an attribute that sets Adeszko Abate & Green apart from many other law firms.
